Nudie Films

I subscribe to Amazon Prime, which gives varies perks such as free shipping,  fast delivery, music and streaming TV among other things.  The streaming TV offers mostly B movies and short clips of limited interest, such as 60 seconds watching airplanes take off and land.  It was on this free streaming video that I recently found three "nudist" films.

 

The first one up is entitled Unashamed: A Romance.  It was filmed in 1938 and I suppose it was fairly risqué for the time.  The story, what there is of it, centers around a woman who tries to get her boss to a nudist camp with the idea of winning his heart.  Most of the scenes depict a cozy utopian atmosphere where only the top half is shown nude except for a few butts here and there.  

The boss finally joins her and all seems to be going well with her plan until they encounter a blonde vixen who works at getting his attention.  I guess you'll have to see the film to find out if the blonde wins or not.  

The second film is called Bigfoot Horror Camp, yes, that's right, Bigfoot Horror Camp.  It stars Lexie Bell who is a porn actress and the camp in question is called the Double-D.  The bigfoot in question is some guy in a cheap gorilla suit who likes to capture the nude maidens and force them to pole dance.  It's probably a terrific film for a horny 13 year old boy but other than that don't waste your time with it.

The last film, and arguably the worst, is American Nudist, but with a promising title there is no plot, no real insight into nudism and, like the previous film, is an absolute and total waste of time. Not even good for horny 13 year olds.  The film is so bad, so forgotten and so useless, the only thing Google Images comes up with is the movie poster.

Oh là là! Nude in Paris

According to several news sources, the city of Paris, France, is planning on its first naturist park.  France has a long history of naturism with numerous beaches and campsites.  It is estimated that there are over two million naturists in France with an additional two million arriving during the summer months.

According to the new sources, the plan was hatched by the Paris Green Party and has the endorsement of the city council.  While no specific location has been chosen as of yet, two popular possibilities include Bois de Boulogne and Bois de Vincennes.

Boise de Boulogne is described as full of activities such as biking, jogging, boat rowing, horseback, pony rides, and remote control speed boats.  It is also said to be popular with prostitutes at night.  Bois de Vincennes is the largest park in the city and hosts the Paris Zoological Gardens.

We wish the Parisians well and will certainly attempt a visit next time in France.

Dancing on the Beach

I was recently fortunate to see Nanami Nansen on the beach at Su Casa.  Nanami was the photographer and model for our 5th anniversary poster.

Nanami has two passions:  photography and dancing, so I was very lucky when she invited me to join her in some fun beach dances as the photo collage show.

It's Our Birthday!

Naked Pig Art Banned!

A recent article from England's Exeter Express and Echo, tells of the plight of one Cress de la Fosse, an art student at Exeter College.  De la Fosse  submitted her photo for exhibition at the college but it was unfortunately rejected and she is not too happy about it.  "My work highlights the poor body image and insecure feelings that a high percentage of women experience", she said. 

The head of art and design at the college states, "Cress’s submission is a great piece of work which is why it has been included in this upcoming exhibition. While we are pleased to exhibit Cress’s artwork, one piece is particularly powerful and has been withdrawn from this exhibition in the college’s Centre for Creative Industries".

Well it's um, "powerful" alright, as you can see for yourself.

Nothing like a nude woman running through the woods wearing a pig's head

Personally I don't find it art so much as satire.  Recently in the news there was an allegation that the current British Prime Minister, David Cameron, was once fellated by the head of a dead pig.

Needless to say, De la Fosse is a little upset that her work has been banned and is now looking for a gallery to display her work.  Take heart Cress!  Here at Su Casa we have given your work a showing.  If you ever come to Second Life, let me know and we'll make it permanent.

Entire town goes nude for a day

To mark the end of summer, the entire population of the small town of Bowling Wary, Indiana, near Interstate 90, opted to go nude for the day.  The event was intended to mark a good summer and tourist trade.

"Decent temperatures and a fairly good influx of tourists helped make this past summer one of the best", says organiser Sue Parkay, shown here with her prize rose. Parkay is also manager of the nearby Cheeky Buns, a non-affiliated nudist resort and trailer park, says she is pleased that the whole town participated.

 

June, receptionist at the local dentist says, "I'm so pleased to be a part of this. Everyone in town is so enthused and I had one patient come in and change his appointment three times. I hope we can do this every year!"

 

"This is the first time anyone except my wife Ellie has seen me naked, now I'm all over town in my birthday suit.  I always wondered what old Mrs. Wilson looked like naked, now I know",  says Vern, a plumber, as he grins.

Jackie, a housewife, says she surprised herself by baring all, and added that she had to wait until her husband left for work before she disrobed.  "He'd never leave the house otherwise", she said.

 

The event included a lunchtime picnic and organizer Parkay says that while there are no formal plans to repeat the event next year, it will come before the town council in December.  "The weenie roast was well attended and a sure repeat if we do this again.  I'd also like to see volleyball games, three-legged races and mud wrestling", she added.

Hanging in the Woods - Artist becomes trapped nude in her own work

A Norwegian artist named Hilde Krohn Huse filmed herself in hanging naked from a rope in a tree. 

However, as she reached the end of her video she found that she was unable to free herself.  The results are quite hilarious.  You can watch the video on the artist's own website HERE  or on
Vimeo. She said she was fortunate that one of her friends was nearby.  And who says Second Life doesn't have a similar set of problems?

What Dad Always Wanted!

Father's Day is coming up this Sunday, 21 June, in many parts of the world.  It seems one place suggests you give him that "something special".

Um, well, to each their own I guess.

Naked Jungle

This month marks the 15th anniversary of a British TV game show, The Naked Jungle, where all contestants as well as the presenter appeared nude. 

It appears as if it pitted one team against another performing various timed tasks.  As with the majority of British game shows it really is quite bad.

The TV watchdog reported that it only really got one negative response to the show but apparently the newspaper Daily Mail was supposedly outraged.  This is rather ironic as the Daily Mail is basically Britain's gutter newspaper.

World Naked Gardening Day

Yes, it's that time of year again, the first Saturday in May. 

Saturday 2 May marks the 10th annual World Naked Gardening Day.  It's believed that the inspiration for this came from Abbey House Gardens in Malmesbury, England, where the (then) husband and wife team of Ian and Barbara Pollard, attracted visitors simply by working in the Nude.  However it was founded and is organized by Mark Storey, who is associated with Nude and Natural Magazine and the Body Freedom Collabarative.

Hopefully you live in a climate that will allow you outdoors to tend your garden in the buff.  If not, well strip down and water your houseplants.

SCOTLAND’s first official nudist camp is going to be held in a Dumfriesshire forest this summer.

The clothes-free gathering is being organized by the Scottish branch of British Naturism. The organization hopes the weekend of luxury camping – featuring hot tubs, tipis and a hog roast – will help to transform its image and dispel images of leaky chalets and rain-lashed volleyball courts. Anyone going nude outdoors in Scotland runs the risk of being arrested, but the private Marthrown of Mabie campsite will be screened off to provide priv­acy and to spare the blushes of ramblers and cyclists. Ivan Gill, who has organized the event – which will take place between 21 and 23 August – is confident it will attract younger nudists. He explained: “We are looking to offer something fresh, different and exciting. That’s why we looked for a venue which would appeal to more people – and younger people in particular. “This will be our first summer camp in Scotland, but we are keen to establish it as an annual event.” The 66-year-old stressed that newcomers were welcome. “We are throwing it open to every­one and you don’t have to be a member to come along,” he said. Pam Hazlehurst, owner of the campsite, which is five miles west of Dumfries, said: “Our site is ideal bec­ause we are right in the middle of the forest. “But, there are some public footpaths which go past us, so we’re going to take steps to make sure people walking past won’t be surprised or offended.”

Bring a towel and careful where you sit!

 

South Africa’s first official nude beach opens this weekend on Mpenjati Beach on South Africa’s east coast.  Many locals including religious groups have complained, as one would expect, and police have had to be reminded of the local council’s ruling that set up the beach so they don't arrest everyone.  According to a story in the South Africa Times Live, from last December, when the ordinance was passed, beach goers will have been warned to cover any unexpected erection and certainly never dance provocatively or sit on anyone’s genitals.  Story Here  and Here.
