The Glass Flower (une foufoune d'alien?)

I recently visited Artemis Gallery's new exhibition by Kicca Igaly which features a variety of kinetic, 3D and other art. As with many of Second Life's best artists I'm impressed by their skill and imagination.

Momentarily bypassing the great looking meditation globe in front of the gallery, I headed into the building and to the left, as you walk in, is a great looking kinetic sculpture titled the "Glass Flower".  It is very impressive but looks somewhat, if I may say, like a vagina.  Art is always interpretive and maybe my mind is a shade dirtier that even I suspect, but that's my opinion.   You may be able to judge for yourself from the photo below, shown along with other of her works, but to get the full impact I suggest that you visit Artemis Gallery yourself where you will get a much better look.  Really, you have to see it moving.  Trust me.

I also paid a visit to LeMelonRouge's exhibition at the Maryvo Mayo Gallery in Hugo.  Lemelon is starting to experiment with 3D and I think his efforts are very good as the pics below will show.

One thing I liked, after all that gallery hopping, was Lemelon's quiet table served with one of my favorites!
That's real hospitality.
