Here it is almost New Year's Eve and the past few days haven't been the best. As I write this I am waiting for Su Casa to come back online. Due to the hardware maintenance LL is carrying out, we went off line at about 7:37 AM, SL time. It is now past 9:00 AM and the sim is still down. Longest restart I've seen yet. Seems as if LL is doing this because some regions have been offline for too long. Looks like a support ticket maybe in order.
Yesterday I encountered some real idiots at Su Casa, all dressed in military gear and calling themselves Unsongsoldier, Unsongsoldier1, Unsongsolider2, etc. Don't they mean unsung soldier? Well we all know griefer's are too smart. They were on Sunrise Beach throwing flames at everyone. Needless to say they won't be back. What amazes me is that these idiots, with all the same basic name and exact same age, created these alts for the sole purpose of griefing. My apologies to anyone who encountered them here, and especially to Skip, who I ejected by accident.
On a lighter note, if you've followed the blog about donations to charity, in the two weeks leading to Christmas a total of $L940 was received, so $L1,880 was given to AICR Charity Shop.
Well, the sim isn't up yet, well over an hour. Time to raise a ticket.

ReplyDeleteThanks, Tess. I was hoping for more donations but as you commented in your blog, donations aren't what they use to be. Nonetheless we appreciate them and use the funds to add things of interest to the sim.
